About Bernard garby
Bernard Garby (born August 20, 1997) is a Lithuanian singer / songwriter / pianist and an alumni of the prestigious Juilliard School Pre-College in New York (USA) . The young baritone was admitted to the Juilliard School Pre-College with a full scholarship and was the first Lithuanian singer, representing his country in the world's most prestigious school for music, ballet and drama.
”The guy, who did what wasn’t done by anyone Lithuanian” – published Lithuanian press (DELFI.LT). Since the age of fifteen, Bernard has been holding his solo concerts internationally in cities such as Hamburg, New York, Philadelphia, Barcelona, London and Berlin. On April 30 (2016), he rocked the Lincoln Centre for the Performing Arts in New York holding his solo recital at the Juilliard School, Morse Hall.
In November (2017), Bernard released his very first album “Empty Vases” of his compositions for piano and violin. The album was a musical collaboration together with the violinist Auguste Emilija Janonyte.
Being a laureate of many international voice competitions, in 2016, Mr Šarūnas Birutis, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania, awarded Bernard a nominal scholarship for his achievements in the area of culture/music and the prominence of the name of Lithuania internationally.
In addition to his musical activities, Bernard is an active member of various charity clubs. His charity work focuses on raising funds for young talents and supporting, promoting, advising, guiding as well as mentoring young people, who tailor their careers in arts.
